Our roofing services include but are not limited to:
Slope Roofing
Asphalt Shingle
This is the most commonly used product due to their price points and ease of installation. Rutter Roofing and Exteriors is a 5 Star CertainTeed installer, which means we back our work with available 25 Year Workmanship warranties and Lifetime (non-prorated) shingle warranties. If your roof needs any work at all due to poor workmanship or material defect, that work is completed at NO COST to the homeowner if done within the warrantied timeframe. Did we mention that the warranty covers Aesthetics as well? We only use the BEST most proven products.
Natural Cedar
Most notable for its exquisite looks, a new cedar roof will give your home natural beauty. Cedar roofing has long-lasting durability, and can also be very energy efficient. Did you know that every cedar roof installed by Rutter is backed by our 30 to 50-year warranty packages? Did you also know that comes directly from the mill that produced the exact cedar we install on your roof? We use only the highest-rated cedar straight from Canada.
Standing Seam Metal
This type of metal roofing style is one of the most popular for homes. This material is a high-end upgrade and a big step up in quality and longevity from the traditional ribbed style. Most commonly used on small skirt roofs, porch roofs, bays, and accent areas, this product is sure to set off a project!
Slate & Tile Roofing
Slate & Tile roofing is a tried and true European staple. Used in fewer and fewer applications these days, we have some of the best technicians specializing in these very difficult to master installations. We love the opportunity to restore 19th and 20th-century homes by keeping to their originality and protecting them for the next centuries to come!
Flat or Low Roofing
Modified Bitumen
Modified Bitumen is a single-ply rolled roofing material with a mineral-based surface. The mineral surface of this roofing type reflects heat, which significantly reduces energy costs. It is also available in a smooth version, typically coated with a silver or white coating system. This product is used commonly on flat roofs that use boxes or tubes to drain.
EPDM
EPDM roofing is made from a rubber material. It is made out of durable material that resembles an inner tube. EPDM is totally waterproof, never cracks or peels, and is resistant to all types of weather, especially heat and sunlight. It typically comes black in color but is also available in white. This product is the bread and butter flat roof in our area and highly recommended for most installations.
TPO
Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing is one of the fastest-growing commercial roofing products in the industry. TPO roofing supplies great protection against ultraviolet, ozone, and chemical exposure. With a white, slippery surface, this product is not only heat resistant but also moves water quickly.
Peel & Stick
Peel & Stick underlayments are perfect for your roof because they complement a home very well along with its asphalt shingle counterpart. They do not tear easily, providing lasting protection through even the harshest weather conditions. This product is used most commonly on low slope roof surfaces too low for shingles, but enough pitch to drain into a gutter.
Copper Roofing
Copper roofing is a lightweight material, which will allow your roof to maintain its structure. There are few things that can compare to the look of a hand fabricated copper roof. To watch it patina throughout the years is equally as beautiful.
